About Kristin Meredith
I was travelling through Mexico and Guatemala when I became captivated by the textiles — fabrics woven by hand on real looms, dyed slowly, and marked by the texture and patterns that reveal the person behind the work. Back home, I felt how rare that level of human craftsmanship had become, and I wanted to build a brand rooted in materials that carried meaning and care. As a seamstress, I began designing my own garments using these fabrics, eventually partnering with small manufacturers in India and Peru so my designs could be made thoughtfully and responsibly. What started as a personal fascination grew into a way of creating clothing that honours traditional techniques while making them wearable in everyday life.

Stunning
I received my new Ofelia dress last night, and I am blown away. The dress is incredibly soft cotton and very comfortable. Sometimes tiered dresses overwhelm me with fabric, but this dress is very well designed. I will be ordering the black one next!
