Antigua Skirt - Black/White Ikat
This fabric found me in Chichicastenango, Guatemala.
I bought it directly from the weavers — hand dyed yarns, handwoven on traditional looms. I came home and sewed this Antigua Wrap Skirt myself. And there is only one like it. For now at least.
The women who wove this fabric learned from their mothers, who learned from theirs. When you wear something like this, you carry that tradition with you. That matters to me more than I can say.
Pair it with a simple white tank and you are ready for anything — a market day abroad, dinner with friends, a slow afternoon wherever the road takes you. It is the kind of textile that stops you in your tracks.
