Mosaic Scarf

The Mosaic Scarf, a silk scarf that captures both the breathtaking beauty of Cappadocia’s sunrise skies and the intricate artistry of the region’s ancient mosaics.

Based on my recent trip to Istanbul and Cappadocia, the design of this scarf features flowing ribbons of color inspired by the painted cliffs and rose-hued valleys, with delicate patterns reminiscent of the tiled domes and hand-cut mosaics that adorn Turkey’s historic architecture.

Framed by a geometric border echoing mosaic tiles, each line and curve celebrates the craftsmanship and pattern play that defines so much of Turkish art and culture.

And at its heart, a simple phrase — “What takes your breath away?” — woven into the silk as a gentle reminder to pause, wander, and let beauty surprise you.

This scarf is made from 100% silk twill with hand rolled edges and measures 36" x 36".
